Andrew Murday

April 11, 2022 5:53 PM

County Councillor Andrew Murday was elected to North Yorkshire Councty Council in May 2022 to represent the Ripon and Nidderdale division.

He spent most of my professional life as an NHS heart surgeon and moved to a smallholding near Glasshouses 11 years ago where he keeps sheep, chickens and bees. He has been a member of Bewerley Parish Council for the past 3 years.

Nidderdale is one of the most beautiful places in the country. But rural areas are not without real problems; transport, affordable housing, an aging population and the rest.

Both Harrogate Borough Council and North Yorkshire County Council are run by a tired group of Conservatives who are behoven to a tired Conservative government. They have been there so long they now take our votes for granted.
